Ana M. Flynn, CDFA
Certified Divorce Financial Analyst
Ana loves spread sheets. From her early college years when she worked in a law firm as receptionist and as an accountant, she has enjoyed gathering information and organizing it into usable, understandable form. As part of the professional team at Thompson Family Law she specializes in analyzing financial data, often an integral part of negotiating family matters.
In addition, she is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and is court-qualified as a financial expert in the 20th Judicial Circuit.
Ana was born in Cuba but resided in Miami from the time she was one month old. She and her husband, Curt, were married in 1986 and moved diagonally across the country to Seattle, Washington. Ana finished her college degree in accounting while Curt completed his MBA, both from Washington State University. Ana was licensed as a CPA in the State of Washington, was recruited by KPMG Peat Marwick and served as an auditor for that firm and as Controller for a pension firm for a number of years.
In 1997 the Flynns moved back across the country to Florida. They have two children, Bianca and Giancarlo (so named because of their mother’s love for Italy). Ana is an active member of the Junior League of Fort Myers, and is a self-proclaimed travel junkie. The family’s favorite recreation is traveling, generally to locations rich in historic and archaeological interest.
